Christmas by the Sea

Christmas by the Sea is one of many events happening in Blackpool over the festive period. Visitors to the town can expect a festive-village takeover on Blackpool Tower’s Festival Headland with an outdoor skating rink, log cabins and light-projection shows. And that’s not all, there will also be fairground rides for all the family to enjoy.

The Christmas markets in Blackpool will take place from 17th November to 1st January, 12-9pm daily, giving people plenty of time to soak in the festive atmosphere. Those looking for outdoor ice skating in Blackpool this festive season should head to the Christmas markets, where the whole event is completely free of charge.

Aladdin at Blackpool Grand Theatre

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than heading to the theatre to watch a pantomime? This Christmas, Aladdin will be back at Blackpool Grand Theatre from 1st December to 1st January 2024!

Guests can join Aladdin and his family as they try to defeat the evil Abanazar in his plan to become master of the world, with help from Genie of the Lamp and the Spirit of the Ring. The Blackpool panto sees the return of West End star and TV soap sensation, Tom Lister (as Abanazar), who will be joining Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Royle (as Wishee Washee).
