The Reytons in Blackpool
Please note Gary Neville will not be appearing at any dates by The Reytons
Rotherford quartet Jonny Yerrell, Joe O’Brien, Lee Holland and Jamie Todd formed the Reytons in 2016 – and, uncharacteristically for an indie rock group, kept it quiet. After a year spent honing their sound and sharpening their writing skills, they released their debut EP in 2017. It Was All So Monotonous was released independently, as were subsequent EPs K.O.T.E and Alcopops and Charity Shops. With three short projects out in just two years, the band turned their attention to the live circuit, building a loyal fanbase and capturing the attention of the industry.
In November 2021, the Reytons released their debut album with label Scruff of the Neck. Kids Off The Estate was a Top 20 hit for the group, a feat they would managed to top with sophomore record What’s Rock And Roll? The album, released in January 2023, topped the UK Albums Chart. The group subsequently announced a nationwide tour, including a huge show at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena. Later that year, the band announced a massive homecoming show at the 20,000 capacity Clifton Park for summer 2024.
In 2024, the band also announced a new UK and Ireland tour for spring 2025, with stops including the O2 Academy Brixton in London and Manchester’s Aviva Studios.*
*To confirm, Gary Neville will not be performing at these shows.
